Worth the Splurge

Tequila Tasting at the Ritz Carlton Lobby Lounge (Cancun)

Faves n Craves

Cetli (Tulum) - Highly recommended by Seattle's Cook Local folks: "Locavore restaurant, all organic. The chef will come out and explain all of herdishes as you get them and she's so so nice. For 2 entrees, anappetizer (on the house), it was $60. It is off the main drag by 1block (away from the beach zone)."

Charlie's (Downtown Tulum) - I was first introduced to Charlie's because of the the charitable work of it's proprietor, Carlos. As worthwhile as it is to support his cause, the food was just amazing and worth awakening from your beachside bliss and return to downtown.

Cheap n' Good

La Floresta (Playa del Carmen) - located on the west side of the highway between Constituences and Juarez Aves. Incredible $2 tacos.

Las Comerciales (Playa del Carmen) - Never ever ever have I thought empanadas could be so incredible.

For the Fun of It

La Route des Vins (Calle 5, Playa del Carmen) - Probably the only French restaurant on 5th Avenue. It's a fun place to see and be seen, and service is fantastique.
